Diet:
Anything. No - really. If a fox can get its teeth round something, it’ll try to eat it. How else do you think they adapted to city life? Living prey include, depending on location, mice, shrews, voles, rabbits, hares, rats, insects, worms {quite a favourite, apparently} and even the odd hedgehog. Berries, windfall fruit, roots of numerous kinds - all are grist to the fox’s mill.
